About the speaker
Dr. Satya Gupta has over 24 years of experience in the semiconductor field covering areas from Design to Embedded Software. He has been part of initiatives like Concept2Silicon Systems and Open-Silicon as co-founder. Dr. Gupta worked at Intel for 13 years and co-founded Intel Microelectronics Services, an ASIC organization within Intel. Dr. Gupta has received the prestigious IEEE Gordon Bell award in High Performance Computing for his work on breaking the teraflop barrier for the first time, apart from this he also has 6 patents to his name. A founding member of the India Semiconductor Association (ISA), Dr. Gupta received his Ph.D. from Old Dominion University, Virginia, USA and is an alumnus of IIT Delhi and BITS, Pilani in India.
